Our School Council
2025
The William Levick School Council 2024-25 consists of two class members voted in from each year group. They have been hard at work through this year, with lots of activities and fundraising both taken place and yet to come! We continue to support national fundraising events and have dressed "Pudsey" to support Children in Need and dressed in something red for Comic Relief.
We continue to promote well-being and positive messages in the school, starting with Friendship Week in November and the all important Odd Sock Day to show we are all unique. For Children's Mental Health Week, School Council invited the children to dress to show, "We are who we are!" The children loved coming into school dressed to express themselves!
Our chosen charity this year is World Wildlife Fund. The school councillors have voted to raise money for WWF this summer term by running a cake and second-hand toy sale. They will be asking for toy donations and will be busy baking or shopping to provide cakes to sell. Last year's cake sale was hugely popular so we are hoping for a repeat this year!
The school council have also chosen to spend their budget on resourcing some quieter playground equipment and games that can be enjoyed at break and lunchtimes - watch this space for what they decide to buy!
